Differentiation for Successful Noticing

The following are two resources on how thinking about differentiating noticing tools can lead to more successful noticing/assessment.  One explains why it is important to carefully consider how we choose noticing tools, while the other is a hands-on exercise for teachers (learn more about the value and practice of noticing here).
